SAIF ThinkTank delves deeply into core domains like sci-tech innovation finance, sustainable finance, and digital finance. It conducts pivotal research projects and hosts specialized closed-door seminars, forums and summits to enable exchange across academic, theoretical, policy, and applied research realms.

In order to broaden its influence, SAIF ThinkTank actively participates in various academic programs. For example, it has coordinated experts and scholars to contribute to over 50 government policy symposiums. Additionally, SAIF ThinkTank has hosted over 30 invitation-only seminars to conduct key independent research and discuss major economic policies. As an academic sponsor of the Shanghai International Fintech Forum, Dishui Lake Emerging Finance Conference, and the Bund Summit, SAIF ThinkTank also convenes the Shanghai International Financial Center Development Forum, while providing expert review for the Shanghai Financial Innovation Award.
