The China Academy of Financial Research (CAFR) is a research institute affiliated with Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Our mission is to establish an esteemed open financial research platform and think tank to support financial reform and market development in China.
CAFR introduces innovative finance theories, methodologies, and technologies to examine practical issues in China's evolving financial system and expanding markets. Our distinguished research team comprises leading finance scholars from China and abroad. We offer policy recommendations to government decision makers and solutions to financial institutions and corporations.
CAFR maintains close collaboration with China's government agencies and has been appointed the academic research partner of the People's Bank of China, Shanghai Head Office. We have built an extensive research network with academic institutions and the financial industry. Through publishing high-impact research, organizing academic events, and nurturing talented researchers, CAFR aims to become a world-leading finance think tank.
