SAIF Professors Jun Pan and Feng Li Named Among World's Top 2% Scientists

Recently, the "World's Top 2% Scientists 2025" list was jointly released by Stanford University and Elsevier, an authoritative academic publisher.

Professor Jun Pan, Professor of Finance and Chair Professor at SAIF, was selected for the "Career-long Impact" list. Additionally, Professor Pan and Professor Feng Li, SAIF Deputy Dean and Chair Professor of Accounting, both appear in the "Single-Year Impact" list for Economics and Business. This marks Professor Pan's seventh selection and Professor Li's fifth consecutive appearance in the ranking.

The list—developed by Professor John P.A. Ioannidis' team at Stanford University using Scopus data—evaluates scientists through six key metrics including total citations, H-index, and HM-factor. Scientists are categorized into 22 fields and 174 sub-fields to ensure objective assessment across disciplines.
