Professor Jun Qian is an Affiliate Professor at Shanghai Advanced Institute of Finance (SAIF) at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Co-Chairman of the Expert Advisory Committee of China Securitization Forum (CSF), Managing Director at Sail Financial in Shanghai, and a senior advisor at China ChengXin HeYi (a financial intelligence company under CCX International, specializing in fixed income and asset securitization). Professor Qian received his Ph.D. in engineering and M.S. in statistics from the University of Toledo in Ohio, M.A.in Business from Duke University, and B.E. in Electrical Engineering from Zhejiang University. Professor Qian held management positions at several top international investment banks, accumulating over 16 years of international investment banking and more than 10 years of financial management experiences in China. He has worked at Bank of America and at Deutsche Bank in the U.S., responsible for asset securitization business, and at Morgan Stanley in Hong Kong, responsible for trading and sales of asset securitization products in the Asia-Pacific region. During his overseas work, Professor Qian was invited as an external expert to participate in the pilot work of China's asset securitization promoted by the People's Bank of China, the China Banking Regulatory Commission, and the China Securities Regulatory Commission.

 

In 2010, Professor Qian was recruited by Baosteel Group as a globally recruited talent. After returning to China, Professor Qian has successively held positions in various licensed institutions and fintech companies, including as the General Manager of Huabao Trust (2010-2015), Vice President/Senior Advisor at Yirendai/Creditease, and Chief Product Officer at Ping An Lufax. He has also served as a director of Nord Mutual Fund and a director of Xiamen Financial Exchange Center. His social activities include serving as the Director of the Alumni Association of Zhejiang University.
