Professor Henry Cai is an Affiliate Professor at Shanghai Advanced Institute of Finance (SAIF) at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, the Chairman and Founding Partner of AGIC Capital. Founded in 2015, AGIC is a European-Asian fund focused on investments in advanced industrial and healthcare technology companies and has more than US$ 2.2 billion of assets under management. Before founding AGIC, Professor Cai boasted a notable career that extends over twenty years in investment banking, having occupied significant roles at top financial institutions, such as BNP Paribas and UBS, and most recently as the Executive Chairman of Investment Banking Asia Pacific at Deutsche Bank. His profound experience has played a crucial role in advising more than 200 Chinese companies on their overseas IPOs, successfully raising more than US$ 100 billion in total.
