On May 24, SAIF and the Shanghai Financial Association hosted the inaugural Chartered Global Fintech (CGFT) Conference.
Shanghai Vice Mayor Dong Xie's written speech welcomed CGFT's growing influence in cultivating composite fintech talent. SAIF Executive Director Guangshao Tu hoped SAIF could continue mobilizing resources for fintech talent development, serving the financial system's digital transformation.
Guests included municipal officials, SAIF leaders like Executive Dean Shijun Cheng, and CGFT Academic Committee Chairman Feng Li.
SAIF and SFA released the Standards 1.0 for Full-Cycle Fintech Talent Certification and Cultivation White Paper, offering recommendations for fintech curriculum upgrades. The first batch of CGFT Outstanding Student Representatives were awarded certificates. The event also appointed the first expert think tank and recognized innovative fintech talent practice bases.
A roundtable forum allowed participants to share experiences on full-cycle fintech talent development. Moving forward, SAIF will leverage such platforms to serve Shanghai's goals of building a Global Fintech Talent Center.
