In the Fall Season of 2023, three exceptional students from the SAIF MBA 2023 Class achieved remarkable success in the ETF Global® Portfolio Challenge. This rigorous ten-week competition attracted participants from around the world, and our students demonstrated their prowess by securing positions within the top 25 globally.
Outstanding Achievements:
Zhi Ying Huang (PTD Class of 2023): Achieved an impressive 7th place, setting a new record for mainland China.
William Zheng (PTE Class of 2023): Distinguished himself with a commendable 15th place.
Rong Zhan (FT Class of 2023): Demonstrated excellence, securing the 21st place.
The Challenge was introduced into SAIF's curriculum by Professor Nan Li, Term Associate Professor at SAIF and Vice Director of SJTU's Research Institute of Security and Finance. As Professor Li explains, the competition is organized by ETF Global® and stockgoats.com, a live simulation trading platform, and gives students hands-on experience in wealth management careers. Through practical application, participants refine skills in asset allocation while confronting the difficulties of real-world investing.
