The 2023 QuanTech Festival, held on June 2nd and 3rd at the Shanghai World Expo Center, provided a platform for the release of the "2023 China QuanTech White Paper". Guangshao Tu, the Executive Director of SAIF, and Feng Li, a Professor of Accounting and Deputy Dean of SAIF, gave keynote speeches at the conference. Tu reflected on QuanTech research, describing its development from three perspectives: the motivation behind the development of QuanTech, how to view the application and impact of QuanTech in financial markets, and how to improve the ecology of QuanTech development. According to the data presented in the white paper, quantitative technology is currently the most popular industry in China. While private equity and large institutions stand to benefit from QuanTech, it also provides an opportunity to all types of investors for inclusive investment and wealth management.
