On September 7, Aram Karakashian, Executive Director of Marketing, Communications and Admissions at Imperial Business School (IB), visited the Shanghai Advanced Institute of Finance (SAIF) at Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU). Hong Yan, Deputy Dean of SAIF, and the relevant program leads attended the meeting.
The two sides held in-depth discussions on topics such as the implementation of the Double Degree Pathway officially launched in 2025, and continued exploration of exchange programs. They also exchanged views on related work concerning international student admissions and employment.
Aram Karakashian noted that IB is focusing on optimizing its program portfolio and developing new program directions. He looked forward to the two sides fully leveraging their respective resource advantages, promoting synergies across various teaching programs, and further expanding cooperation.
Hong Yan said that the two sides have a solid foundation for cooperation. He hoped they would maintain close communication, continue to deepen practical cooperation in program promotion, information sharing, and optimization of the Double Degree Pathway, steadily advance the implementation of cooperative initiatives, and jointly provide a higher-quality international platform for finance talent cultivation.
