Xiaoyang Li is a Term Associate Professor and Associate Faculty Director of MBA program at Shanghai Advanced Institute of Finance (SAIF). Prior to joining SAIF, Professor Li was an Assistant Professor of Finance and Economics at the Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business, China.
Professor Li’s research focuses on the areas of corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and entrepreneurial finance. He has published in several academic journals, including Journal of Financial Economics, Review of Finance, Strategic Management Journal, Journal of Corporate Finance, World Economy. He was a Kauffman Dissertation Fellow in 2011.
Professor Li teaches Corporate Finance, Valuation, and Mergers and Acquisitions. Professor Li received his Ph.D. from the University of Michigan in 2011, M.S. from Queen’s University in 2005, and B.A. from the University of International Business and Economics in 2003.
