Shanghai Advanced Institute of Finance ThinkTank

The Shanghai Advanced Institute of Finance (SAIF) ThinkTank is a policy research institution created by the Shanghai Advanced Institute of Finance at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Its mandate is to convene experts and scholars worldwide to conduct research on strategic, forward-looking policy issues related to China's economic and financial development. Areas of focus include advancing Shanghai as an international financial center, international finance, and financial technology.

In addition to providing policy recommendations and academic insights to China's financial regulators, the SAIF ThinkTank also undertakes research tasks commissioned by relevant government agencies. Committed to its mission of "building a leading think tank focused on national policies", the SAIF ThinkTank stays abreast of the latest global economic and financial trends and issues.

Leveraging the research capabilities of the China Academy of Financial Research and Shanghai Advanced Institute of Financial Research, the SAIF ThinkTank will generate high-quality, actionable policy research to support government decision-making.
