Li Shan, who received his PhD in Economics from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, is a chief advisor in international business of China Development Bank, the president of Taoshi Equity Investment Management Co. Ltd. and the vice chairman of Chinese Financial Association of Hong Kong. Previously, he was the vice chairman of the UBS Investment Bank in Asia, the CEO of BOC International Holdings Limited, a managing director of Lehman Brothers Asia, the deputy head of the Investment Banking Preparation Committee at China Development Bank, the executive director of Goldman Sachs, the deputy director-general of China Overseas-Educated Scholars Development Foundation, a member of the Advisory Committee for State Informatization of the State Council and an advisor of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government. He published a number of books including the Analysis of Current Affairs of Chinese Economy, Capital Logics and Enterprise Rebuilding and Journey to Home. Li Shan is also a co-founder of the New York Stock Exchange-listed Soufun Holdings Ltd.
