Program Introduction

Economic and financial globalization is irreversible. As a re-emerging major power, China has integrated its economy with the global system to become a major pillar of the new international financial order. After over 30 years of rapid economic growth, China is witnessing a challenging new round of development. Instead of simply copying theories and practices of the United States and Europe, China urgently needs to promote its own reforms and development within both its domestic economy and its capital markets.

With this mission in mind, Shanghai Advanced Institute of Finance (SAIF) has joined hands with Arizona State University's W.P. Carey School of Business to launch the DBA in Global Financial Management program. Tailored for Chinese financiers, business leaders and senior government officials, the program explores economic laws and financial patterns that drive events. Giving equal weight to both practical application and management skills, the program helps students to develop global, systematic, and holistic thinking.

W.P. Carey School of Business

As one of the largest business schools in the United States, the W.P. Carey School of Business is also home to internationally recognized scholars in economics, supply chain management, and service marketing.
